Email your county elected officials who usually fund county elections to prioritize election security and request the state share federal funds to help secure your vote.
Your email will be formally addressed to them.
Tell them now is the time to prioritize and fund key election security measures, such as:
- Rigorous post-election audits
- Paper ballots - every voter should have the choice to either mark a paper ballot by hand or with an assistive device
- Emergency plans including planning backups of the voter rolls, including on paper if they use e-pollbooks
- Ensuring local election officials have the needed IT security support to keep current with evolving election security threats and keep all software up to date.
