Tell CPS Energy Not to Swap One Polluting Fossil Fuel for Another

The CPS Energy Board of Trustees is finally starting to hearing your voice! They passed a resolution calling for the utility to stop burning coal by 2030 – but left the door wide open to convert the Spruce plant to natural gas.

Given the state of the climate crisis, we can’t afford to swap one polluting fossil fuel for another. Methane – the main component of natural gas – is a key driver of climate change.

The CPS board seems more willing to hear from the community now than ever before. Please send your email to ask for clean, resilient energy future for San Antonio.
