Add your name: Expose hidden corporate lobbying by Wells Fargo

We know Wells Fargo has lobbied against pro-consumer regulations at the federal level — but we don’t know what lobbying it’s doing at the state level or through trade associations.

Now, a group of shareholders have filed a proposal to tell Wells Fargo to be fully transparent and reveal the full scope of all of its lobbying activities at every level.

This lobbying transparency proposal will be voted on at Wells Fargo’s annual shareholder meeting on April 30, 2024.

Add your name to our petition to show Wells Fargo shareholders that there’s overwhelming support for their corporate lobbying transparency proposal:

To Wells Fargo Shareholders

Shareholders and potential future investors deserve to know how much Wells Fargo is spending on lobbying at all levels and if Wells Fargo is lobbying in their best interests. And customers and other stakeholders deserve to know if Wells Fargo’s lobbying aligns with its publicly expressed goals and commitments.

I urge all shareholders to vote in favor of Item 12: Shareholder Proposal — Transparency in Lobbying Annual Report at the April 30, 2024 Wells Fargo annual shareholder meeting.
