Tell Congress: Pass Supreme Court Tenure Establishment and Retirement Modernization Act

The Supreme Court Tenure Establishment and Retirement Modernization (TERM) Act — would institute term limits of 18 years for Supreme Court justices and provide for the appointment of two new justices during each four-year presidential term, removing the potential to fill Supreme Court vacancies as a factor in elections for president.

To Congress

It is long past time for the United States to take the commonsense step of instituting term limits for Supreme Court justices. The American people call on you to pass the Supreme Court Tenure Establishment and Retirement Modernization Act without delay.
