Donald Trump posted “that there will be a Complete and Total CEASEFIRE” between Israel and Iran and that by sometime today, “the war will be ... ENDED!” Let’s hope so. But of course Trump is habitually unreliable, so we shall see.

Regardless, is this how the United States should conduct international relations? Are we really OK with the president unilaterally — in violation of the law and the Constitution — bombing a country with which we are not at war?
