Senate Must Reject Todd Blanche for Attorney General

Any senator who votes to confirm Todd Blanche for attorney general is enabling Donald Trump’s authoritarianism.

Attorney general is our nation’s top law enforcement position. The person in that role leads a Department of Justice, including the FBI, that is supposed to be an independent force for upholding the rule of law. Donald Trump thinks the AG, DOJ, and FBI are his personal legal attack dogs. Todd Blanche is down on all fours and slobbering at the chance to be a “good boy.” Do not confirm Blanche for attorney general.
