Countries across Africa rely on GeneXpert tests to detect and track mpox outbreaks.
But the manufacturer, Cepheid, and its parent company, Danaher, are charging more than four times the cost of production for the tests. They’re simply too expensive for these countries to afford.
Tell Cepheid and Danaher to lower the price so that countries with fewer resources can access this vital tool and better manage the emergency.
